Thank you so much - that worked!  I am now officially 100% cheevoed.  Hope you aren't working yourselves too hard!  You've made a fantastic thing and I'm sure a great many people will love it.

Quick question - is the DNA cheevo for getting all the transformations, or for maxing them and obtaining the relevant DNA fragment?  If it is the former, I think my save is bugged - I have them all (& I’ve tried buying additional fragments from Ives) and still no trophy.  Not to worry though - it’s  not a high priority issue and I know you’ll all be very busy!

thanks so much for getting back to me!  You must be rushed off your feet.  Fortunately I was able to load a previous save, and when I came back with Rex the scene played out normally and I was able to move on.  Thanks for the advice on the itch app too - I don’t think it’s something you need to worry about, and it’s easy for me to work around.  I will be manually installing in the future!

I want to post a full (glowing) review once I’m finally done with the game, but for now all I’ll say is i) it really is fantastic, one of the best things I’ve played in years and ii) may I ask for a hint on two matters?  Firstly, I’m collecting cores for Chee but I’m a bit stuck - Frey wants me to check up on Quinn’s thieves & says they should be in Den towns, but as far as I can tell I’ve talked to everybody in them (including using Nyx & Luca) & scoured the mog-infested paths but I can’t find any sign of them.  Secondly I remember passing Yorshk’s tower (locked) at some point while exploring the Den but I can’t for the life of me recall where or work out how to get back to it (I really struggle to get past the moving spike traps so I don’t want to fight my way past them needlessly).  Thanks a bunch!

Hi there!  Adoring the game, but I've encountered a bug!

I've just dealt with the 'horses', and now Eve is stuck - she's standing facing a locker, and doesn't respond to me trying to move her.  I've tried keyboard and game pad and reloading the save, but she just won't move.

Incidentally, I've had one other small niggle, although this may just be because I'm not used to using the itch app.  Whenever you patch the game, I have to reinstall it - if I ask itch to just download the patch, when I try to play I get a 'there's nothing there to launch' error.  It's not a big deal since I just move my saves over to the new installation, but I thought I'd ask!

Thanks again for this super game, I'm having so much fun with it (I'm sure I still have a lot left to do, & I can't wait to play it again once it launches on steam).

thanks so much for the response!  You definitely succeeded on the feel-good thing - it really captures the spirit of the GB Pokémon games, but with so much panache & a style of its own (and I must say as a cat person I am DELIGHTED to have a game where my animal companion isn’t a dog).  I love playing games that I can enjoy now while also thinking ‘wow, little me would have loved this’.

Don’t worry if you can’t say, but do you have a rough idea how far behind itch the steam release might be?  I’ll have to see if I can contain my enthusiasm long enough...

Hi there!  I played the demo & this game is excellent!  Big congratulations to you - I can’t wait for the full release (I’m particularly impressed with how fun and endearing the characters are, the writing really has a lot of humour and heart).

I guess you’re at an early stage still, but I wanted to ask - do you have a rough idea what features you’ll be including in the steam release?  I’m trying to decide between platforms & while I’m super keen to play on launch day, if you’re planning on having steam trading cards and the like I might wait, depending on how far away the steam launch would be.  Of course with something this much fun I might just double dip!

Best wishes for the launch.  It’s so lovely to see such a colourful, good-hearted game being made.
